A belt grinder, angle grinder, and bench grinder all have their place in every quality metal shop. One final touch is to give your parts a super fine polish when you are done. There is no better way to do this than attaching a cloth wheel to you bench grinder, and doing this gives the meal a professional finish that is sure to please anyone.

One final word, with all these tools personal operator safety is the most important thing to keep in mind. You should have with you safety goggles, a safety shield, and tough leather gloves with when operating grinding equipment. Also important is to know where the emergency power shutoff switch is located, and never work so far away from this that you can’t reach over and touch it. Metal working can be quite enjoyable when the proper safety procedures are followed correctly.
